ROXY, THE 1999 PET TREK "SPOKESDOG"

invites you to a fun-filled day at Lake Benson Park in Garner

 Hi! I’m Roxy, and I am a former resident of the SPCA of Wake County. Help me raise money for this great organization by joining us on Saturday, September 18th at the 1999 Pet Trek. We’ll kick the day off with a 1-mile walk around Lake Benson park followed by contests for canines and human alike. Registration begins at 9:00am and come rain or shine—no refunds! Plus, if you are looking for a new friend, come and foster walk a dog from the SPCA.

11:00 Contests (Fastest Dog, Smartest, Best Trick, Best Dressed, etc.)

 
12:00Noon Announcement of fundraising and contest winners (Prizes to be awarded!)
  • PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION REQUIRED. Owners/Dogs who do not provide documentation cannot be allowed to participate in any events.
  • Animals MUST BE ON A LEASH and under owner control at all times.
  • NO female animals in heat, please.
  • PLEASE come prepared to clean up after your pet!

 From Highway 70 in Garner, headed east away from Raleigh turn right onto Timber Drive. Follow Timber around until you see Avesboro Road. Turn right onto Avesboro. Lake Benson is approximately 3/4 mile down on your left.
